The International Society of Crime Prevention Practitioners (ISCPP) is a highly-respected organization whose mission is to help law enforcement reduce and control criminal opportunity and victimization through education, training and sharing resources. Its members include Crime Prevention and Community Liaison Officers, Loss Prevention and Security Specialists and concerned individuals from the private sector. This week and last week’s show were taped live at ISCPP’s 29th Annual Crime Prevention Symposium, held October 20-25, 2008 in Denver, CO; and today, host Susan Bartelstone, who is certified by ISCPP, interviews four more expert workshop presenters and features three innovative child safety programs—Whistle Away Crime, Safety Kids personal safety curriculum, and the I-Safe Internet Safety Program—as well as tourism-oriented policing. It'd be a crime to miss it!
